The book portrays the lives of patients who can enjoy the comfort of their families through home treatment, an initiative that is still little publicized in Brazil, but cheaper for the government and that provides a higher quality of life.
André François exposes in the book two distinct realities: that of large urban centers, which have a good medical and hospital structure, and that of isolated regions, with little access to the health system.
The book also features a series of images made by the characters themselves, who, invited by the ImageMagica team, demonstrated in photographs what it means for them to be able to be cared for at home.
