WHO WE ARE

Founded in 1995 by photographer and social entrepreneur André François, ImageMagica is a civil society organization of public interest (OSCIP) that uses photography as a tool to promote human development and social transformation. In a humanized and creative way, it travels Brazil and abroad with educational and documentary projects, carried out mainly in the areas of health and education.

We believe that change starts with looking.

It is necessary to look outside, at the new, but it is also necessary to look inside and at yourself to find the path to transformation.

Photography is a universal language, it is the tool that we find and use every day to give voice to the feelings, people and movements that take the world towards a more humane and evolved future.

Therefore, our actions begin with an invitation to look and photograph the world around each one.

ImageMagica believes that understanding the world in which we live is the first step in changing it and that we can all be part of this change.
